I am looking for a William White, b abt 1827 in St. Ives, Cornwall, England and his wife, Mary (Sisley) White, b abt 1830 in St. Ives, Cornwall England. They came to the upper Peninsula in Michigan around 1862-1864 and settled in Keweenaw or Houghton Co. He was a miner. They had five children, Elizabeth (b. Dec 11, 1849), Mary (b. abt 1851), William (b Jan 5, 1858, Hugh (b. May 2 1862) and Margaret (b abt 1865). Two of the girls are married in 1870 (Elizabeth and Mary) and the other three children are living with Elizabeth and her husband Thomas Job. The parents have disappeared. William might have been killed in a mining accident or in the Civil War. Mary may have died from disease or with the birth of her last child Margaret. Any help in finding out what happened to the parents would be most appreciated.
