I'm looking for the Tito (spelling varies) family that once lived in the U.P. of Michigan, probably Keweenaw or Houghton County MI, then Fitchburg, MA. They were originally from Finland.
Mr. Tito married Theodora "Dora" Olson Ahola. (The surname Ahola was dropped so may have gone by Olson). They moved to Fitchburg, MA and raised a family.
Matthew Titto / Teto shows up with his wife Dora (b. 1880 Norway) in the 1910 and 1920 census of Fitchburg with the following children: Lillian, Mary (Violet or Mary Violet), Hattie, Mildred, Hazel and Dorothy. They were said to have had a daughter Ruth (who may have married a Mr. Woods) and a son, Lawrence. (Daughter Hattie may have married a Mr. Mercier or Mercer).
Any help in locating further information on this family would be greatly appreciated!
