I'm researching the Beardsley family of Lapeer Village.
Hendrick or Kendrick Beardsley (1813-1892)came from Vermont and appears in the 1840 U.S. Census but I don't know the enumeration location other than in the village. Hendrick or Kendrick was a carpenter or furniture maker and also worked in a hardware store at some point later in life. I am looking for any property he may have owned, a consistent first name and a place where he may have been buried. If you can assist I would be grateful. Nancy Beardsley's (1816-
1892) obit is in the local library and she is believed to be
from New York.Kendric or Hendrick had 7 children, one of
which was Marcus.

Marcus A. Beardsley (1848-1905)was born in Lapeer
and married Florence Krego or Kreagal of Ill. He was a farmer in Mayfield Twp and was veteran of the Civil War.
Anyone having information regarding his property or the
exact location of his grave, I would be indebted. I heard
he was buried around Attica but have not been able to locate
a burial site.
