I have found evidence of a Mary Stone living in 1902, wife of Henry Greensky, who was the son of Rev. Peter Greensky. I haven't found more about this Mary. I have a cousin named Nancy Trotochaud Assinaway/Stone d. 1899 in Emmet County, Michigan. There aren't many other (if any) Indians with the Stone surname in the Emmet county record.
I haven't been able to link the various Indians of Emmet County with the Stone surname, the records are not complete. My family legend is that we are indeed related to the Greensky's but just how is not known at present.
Would appreciate anything anyone might be able to provide.
