My great great great grandfather emigrated from Frome in omerset, England in 1850 with his wife and eight of his children, leaving my great great grandmother behind in England because she had recently married. His name was James Dowling and he was followed two years later by his brother Hugh. They were both farmers and they both settled in Adrian Michigan. Any information on either James or Hugh Dowling greately Appreciated.
