BATTEY: Seek info on Job BATTEY and mother Mary who came to Raisin, Lenawee Co 1830's?? Still there in 1850. Other children? Did Mary die there? Also Elijah BROWNELL 1806-1852 died Adrian or Raisin married Phebe BATTEY (1804-1878). Seven children, all died in Adrian of smallpox in the 1850's except for Charles (1835-1898) who married Laura Jane HAVILAND (1837-1918) daughter of Charles and Laura SMITH HAVILAND of Raisin. Anything appreciated especially burial places. Quakers originally from RI via Western NY. Anything appreciated.
