Surnames: Bourasa, Bourassa
One possible origin of the Bourasa (Bourassa) could very well be Spain, as there is a village north of Barcelona named Borrassa (which means "bourasque" or "wind gust").
It happened often that when someone emigrated to another country that he took as family name that of the region or town where he lived.
This opens new research possibilities if the idea is new.
