According to the obituary the father of John b 1794 was also named John, who supposedly was in the Revolution. I believe that both Lydia and her father were born in NJ. He may not have been mentioned in the obituary because he predeceased his father & and had not moved to Macomb Co so would not have been of interest to local folks. The probate should mention Hugh's descendants especially if John died intestate.
