I realize this may not help much, but I wanted to tell you that my GGgrandparents (on both sides actually) lived in Manistee from about 1880 to 1915 time period. August and Auguste Kottke lived at 21 Arthur St, and John and Dora Kuhn lived on Quincy St. Those streets intersect and the family story is that my grandparents met while visiting their grandparents, as they lived across the street from each other.

My Aunt visited Manistee earlier this year and the Kuhn house on Quincy is still standing. I believe she said the house at 21 Arthur is too, but I'll verify that and get back to you. If she has a photo of the 21 Arthur, we can Google Maps your ancestors address and use our photo as a point of reference, because the addresses are usually a tad bit off on Google Maps Street View.
