Surnames: Westboy, Johnson, Glesener
Are there any records online for Springdale in Manistee County? I live in NE and can't make it to Michigan. The relative I'm looking for lived in Thompsonville, Benzie County, MI and worked in Springdale, Manistee County, MI. One source I have says he was farming for himself. Are there any directories online that I could find?

Roy William Westboy b. about 1880 or 1888

2/10/1917 - married Wilhelmina Johnson in Chicago, IL - marriage cert says he was from Chicago.

1917 (or 1919 hard to read) - WWI draft card was filed in Manistee County, MI. States he lived in Thompsonville, MI and worked for himself in farming in Springdale, MI.

1918 - lived in Thompsonville, MI according to his daughters birth certificate (daughter and mother were in Chicago at the time)

1930 census he was living in Barrington, IL, and working as a gardener for a private home.

1942 - WWII draft card - place of residence was Springdale twp., Manistee, MI; mailing address is "vil. Thompsonville, Benzie Co., Mich."; place of employment Springdale Twp., Manistee and he was employed for himself.

7/21/1953 - died in Chicago, IL and is buried in Chicago.

Wife and child were on the 1920 census in Chicago, but he was not and I can not find him anywhere. They were always living at another place during these periods, and not with him. However, I have many pictures of them all together. Been researching this man for 12 years, with no luck. Waiting to see what the 1940 census will bring on him. Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!
