Joseph Doba dies Sunday
General Debility ends life of man who resided here 43 years

Joseph Doba, 74, for 43 years a resident of Manistee died at 5:30 o'clock Sunday morning of general debility. Death took place at the home, 165 Tenth Street. Surviving Mr. Doba are his widow, six daughters, Mrs. William Zamrowski and Mrs. Catherine Raczkowski of this city, Mrs. M. J. Antkowiak and Miss Tillie Doba of Milwaukee, Mrs. Lawrence Govansky of Detroit and Sister Mary Frances of Chicago. One son William was killed in the World war. Mr. Doba was born in Poland, coming to America while a young man. He worked in the lumber mills and salt blocks of this city. The funeral will take place at 8 o'clock Wednesday morning from St. Joseph's church, Rev. John Kaplanowski officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel cemetery.
