As a native of Marquette, Michigan, Marquette County, I am interested in finding the roots of my grandparents. My grandfather's name was Raphael Bellemare (Ralph Belmore). He was born in Quebec. My grandmother's maiden name was Josephine Bellmore or Belmore. Her father's name was Henry (Honore). I suspect they came from Ontario and that they were of Irish descent. Cannot confirm this. My grandfather's father was Augustin and his father,s name was also Augustin. The later has not been confirmed also.
