Surnames: Pete, Sancrant, Dusseau, Pitre
My great-great-grandfather was Julius Pete of Erie and Lasalle, born in 1856 and died in 1921 and who married Mary Sancrant about 1880 or so. I hadn't been able to find anything on his parents until I took a trip up to the Monroe Historical Society, where we found his parents listed as August Pete and Pauline Dusseau. I found a page in a Google search which lists an Augustin Hermis Pitre, married to a Pauline Dusseau, but Julius isn't listed as one of their children. I was hoping someone here might have some more information.
