Mrs. Floyd Bevins, Ill 2 Years, Dies
A two-year illness claimed the life of Mrs. Floyd Bevins, 1022 Marquette avenue, Saturday at Hackley Hospital, she was 60 years old.
Born in Carter County, Kentucky, she was educated there, coming to Muskegon from Johanasburg 19 years ago.
Mrs. Bevins,the former Sena May Sanders, was married in Gaylord, March 6 1913. During World War II, from 1943-1948, she worked in the core room at Campbell, Wyant and Cannon Founfry Company.
She leaves her husband of Detroit, three sons, Fred of Detroit, Vernon of Hesperia and James of Denver, Colo.; one daughter, Mrs. Harvey Brouwer of Muskegon. She is also survived by four brothers, Ace Sanders of Greenup, Ky., William Sanders in West Virginia, Alfred Sanders of Charleston, W. Va., and Robert Sanders of Pontiac; two sisters, Mrs. Ida Campbell of Alger, Ohio, Mrs, Nina Jackson of St. Cloud, Fla. and 11 grandchildren
