PROMINENT BRIDGEBUILDER BURIED AT NEWAYGO
NEWAYGO, Mich., July 12 - IRA CRONK, formerly United States marshal and a prominent railroad bridge builder, was buried here today. He sustained a broken hip a few days ago, and his death is attributed partially to this source.
Mr. Cronk built all the bridges of the Lake Shore railroad between Toledo and Niles; on the G.R. & I., from Fort Wayne to Grand Rapids, and on the Michigan Central from Niles to Jackson. He was 85 years old.
