Dr. Charles Tracy SOUTHWORTH of Monroe Michigan died in a carriage accident on Feb 26, 1884 in Monroe. His two oldest daughters marry that year in West Branch. Jennie Blakslee SOUTHWORTH married Charles Henry WALLACE on July 9, 1884 in West Branch. Cora Frances SOUTHWORTH married George G. GRIFFITH on Dec 25, 1884.

I am curious how they ended up in West Branch. Was it a summer retreat from Monroe? Did they have relatives? A place where there were a lot of men? Any ideas?
