Passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at Borgess Hospital. He was born June 19, 1919 in Reed City, to Harry and Ida Lundborg. He served with the Army Air Force during WWII in the European, African and Middle Easter Theatres and was awarded Five Bronze Stars. He was recognized by the French and Belgium governments for his military service. He was married in 1949 to Wilma Hare, who passed away in 1979. In 1981, he married Laura Duddles, who passed away in 1998. He was married to Gertrude Johnson, who survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived by son, Edward (Tamie) Lundborg of Reed City; daughter, Linda Lundborg of Reed City; son-in-law, Darrell Corrie of Stanwood; grandchildren, Scott and Paul; two step-sons, Wesley Toman of Grand Rapids and Philip Johnson of Kalamazoo and two step-daughters, Barbara (Dan) Moyle and Jackie Patoesh of Kalamazoo. Services have already taken place.
