I am searching in Sanilac County for information of my GG Aunt who is Sarah Maynard. She is mentioned in Sanilac County History 1834-1984.

In an article on Washington Township written by Madeline Jones Felker on page 111 it says "On Maynard's hill
one hundred rods east of Hall's Corners was a log school taught by Miss Sarah Maynard.  It was the first school for
Carsonville...".
