Orange Lodge in Port Huron area

Classification: Query
Surnames: Collins, Pettee, Thibodeau
My grandmother Maybelle Collins Pettee was born a Collins from the Yale, Michigan area. Her father Edward Collins was of Irish heritage (but I believe his family came from the Ulster area = I have had very little success finding out much)... however, I do know that my grandmother was very active in the Orange Lodge in Port Huron during the 1930's and 40's. She even went to a convention in California as a Michigan representative. I think her connection reenforces the Northern Irish connection. I also know that the Collins family and her mother's family Thibodeau was in Canada prior to settlement in St. Clair County. I know the Orange Lodge was very strong in Ontario... I thought it might give me a place to start looking for a migration pattern.
