Frank Parker died at his farm home, one and a half miles southeast of Avoca on Friday, May 23, 1913, at the age of 59 years, 11 months and 5 days, cause uremic poisoning.
Deceased was born near Memphis in Macomb county, June 19, 1853, and when one year old he moved with his parents to a farm in Speaker township where he resided until about 12 years ago when he moved to the farm where he died. A widow, seven daughters and one son, also three brothers, Charles of Port Huron, George and Sidney of Speaker township, one sister, Mrs. John Nesbitt of Marquette, besides a host of relatives and friends are left to mourn his loss.
The funeral was held at Avoca Monday and interment made at Elmwood cemetery near Yale.
