Orrin L. Case, 79, of 4171 Maes Drive, died Tuesday in Port Huron Hospital after a long illness.
He was born April 2, 1892, in Vermontville, Mich., and lived here some 40 years. He was a World War I U. S. Army veteran and worked for 17 years as a millwright with Dunn Paper Co.
Mr. Case and the former Leona Hand were married March 7, 1958 in St. Clair.
He is survived by his widow; four stepsons, Melvin and Roger Hand, both of Port Huron, George Hand, North Hampton, Mass., and Bill Hand, Elkhart, Ind.; two stepdaughters, Margaret Hand, Flint, and Mrs. James Lubnow, Port Huron; and 18 step grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in Arthur Smith Funeral Home with Major William D. Strart, commandant of the Salvation Army Corps, officiating.
Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery. Remains are in the funeral home.
