Classification: Obituary
Surnames: Beischer, Rhody
Mr. Henry G. Bescher was born in Gardenville, near Buffalo, New York, in the year 1868, on April 25, and died at his home Aug. 15, 1929, aged 61 years, 3 months and 20 days.

In the fall of 1872 he moved with his father's family to Memphis, Michigan, where he resided for a few years. Then the family moved to Armada, and to other points until, in 1922, he moved to the present home.

On March 5 he married Miss Bertha Rhody, of Berlin township. There were born to this union eight children--four boys and four girls.

He was well liked by neighbors and friends and by the community at large, and was a kind and indulgent husband and father.

He leaves to mourn their loss besides the widow, the children:--Carl, Marie, Harry, Earl, Josephine, Ruth, Jack, Louise; one brother, Joe Beischer, of Buffalo, N.Y.; three sisters:--Mrs. Elizabeth Leath, of Elk Rapids; Mrs. Thomas Hannan, of Port Huron; and Mrs. Josephine Leonard, of Capac; besides other relatives and friends.

The funeral services were held on Sunday, Aug. 18, at 2 p.m., Rev. L.F. Cilley, of the Capac Federated Church, officiating and the interment was in the East Berlin cemetery.

Card of Thanks.--We wish in this way to thank our neighbors and friends for sympathy and kindly attentions during our recent bereavement; also the choir and the pastor for their services; and those who gave flowers.--The Family.
