Passed away August 16, 2005 at Riverview Manor. She was born on June 8, 1910 in Lawrence, Michigan, the daughter of Christopher and Hannah M. (Bass) Slocum. Mrs. Lane has been a resident of Three Rivers for over thirty years. She was a member of the Three Rivers Eagles #2303, and she loved to fish and garden. Mrs. Lane was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Russell Lane, on February 11, 1981; one daughter, Madeline Wilson; and one grandson, Eric Matthew Wells; three brothers and one sister. (Peggy) Lane of Schoolcraft, MI, Michael Lane of Muskegon, MI, one son-in-law, James Wilson; grandchildren, James Wilson, Jarma Wells, Joseph Wilson, Marcia (Brent) Lash, Melanie (Mark) Karns, Mark Lane, Mari Try, Monica (Troy) Lull, Heather Holbrooks, Christopher Lane, Charlie Lane, Hannah Lane; eighteen great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. on Monday, August 22, 2005 at the Hohner Funeral Home, Three Rivers. Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 23, 2005 at the Hohner Funeral Home with Rev. Brenda M. Clark officiating. Interment will be held in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery, Kalamazoo, MI. Memorials may be donated to the Riverview Manor Auxiliary.
