Beverly Hills, Fla.; John C. THIBOS, 68, of Beverly Hills, Fla., died Jan. 20, 2007, at Inverness, Fla.

He was born March 15, 1938, in Mottville, Mich., a son of Ralph A. and Goldie L. (SINDLE) THIBOS. He graduated from Constantine High School in 1956, and resided in Goshen, Ind., most of his life.

John was in U.S. Navy veteran, serving from 1956-1960. For 35 years he was employed as a band instrument buffer with C.C. Conn and Selmer, both of Elkhart, Ind.

He spent his life in service to his Lord and Savior and was a member of Hope Baptist Church, Beverly Hills, Fla. He was a prior member of Mottville Bible Church, Mottville, where he served as deacon and worship leader.

Surviving are; his wife of 41 years, Kathleen (SECOR) THIBOS, Beverly Hills; two daughters, Brenda and Steve RODMAN of Jones, Mich., and Denise and Gilberto PEREZ of Goshen; two sons, Pastor Jonathan and Renee THIBOS of Citrus Springs, Fla., and Zachary PEREZ, Goshen; seven grandchildren, Crystal, James, Kent and Erika RODMAN of Jones, Mich., and Jonathan THIBOS II and Katelyn THIBOS, Citrus Springs, Fla.; a sister Bonita MAUCK, Las Vegas, Nev.; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Wednesday and services are at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Beverly Hills Chapel of Fero Funeral Home, where cremation will take place. Internment will follow at a later date in Michigan.

Memorial contributions in his memory may be given to Hope Baptist Church, P.O. Box 366, Hernando, FL 34442
