Sturgis; Elmer D. LANGLEY, 73, 307 Spruce St., formerly of Colon, died June 20, 1989, at Thurston Woods Village.

He was born Dec. 31, 1915, in Concord, N.H., a son of Wesley James and Margaret (McDONALD) LANGLEY.

He had lived in the Colon area since 1962, coming from Battle Creek. He had worked in construction for 23 years and was associated with the Bank Building of America, St. Louis, MO. He had been baptized in the Catholic Church.

Surviving are one brother, Wesley James LANGLEY Jr., Detroit and five nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or services. Arrangements were handled by the Schipper Funeral Home, Colon.
