Thank you for the information you have sent. On a trip to Chicago, we took a side trip to Colon and visited Lakeside Cemetery and found the graves of Solomon, Louisa and Allen Salisbury, along with the DeWitt's on the other side. Alida DeWitt was a daughter of Solomon and Louisa and lived her life next to her parents. You found a Sarah Salisbury at Fawn River Cemetery in Sturgis, MI. This could be a daughter of Solomon and his 1st wife Sarah. This Sarah was born abt 1843 (1860 Census) so that would make her also 20yr old in 1864. Are you close enough to get a picture of her tombstone? Sarah S Salisbury, her mother died sometime around 1851-52, do you have any information on her? Again, thanks for your help!
