James LOUGH, 81, of R.R.1, Rome City, died Sunday, February 14, in the Veterans Hospital in Marion.
He was born in Gassaway, W. Va., August 22, 1906, the son of Amos and Rose (WILLIAMS) LOUGH.
LOUGH was the owner of Lough Restaurant in Rome City from 1945 to 1980, moving to the area from Chicago. He was a member of the Rome City United Methodist Church, the American Legion of Rome City, the 40 & 8 of Fort Wayne, the VFW Post of Kendallville and Disabled Veterans.
He was married in Chicago January 12, 1937, to Donna FRAZIER, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Judy SCHROCK of Sarasota, Fla.; a brother, Cecil of West Virginia; and sister, Florence SHAVER of Pennsylvania, and four grandchildren.
There will be no calling hours.
Graveside services will full military rites will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Kenneth Greenwood officiating.
Hutchins Funeral Home of Wolcottville was in charge of arrangements.
Preferred memorials are to the Noble County Animal Shelter.
