Mary C Hamlin, wife of Telesford Hamlin, died Tuesday evening at 11 o'clock, at the family residence Arthur Street, Beuna Vista, of a complication of diseases after an illness of five months.
Deceased was born in Coburg, Ont. Feb 29, 1844, and came to Michigan when 21 years old, settling in Unionville, where she was married to the late Samuel Woodman who died in Akron, Feb 12, 1901, leaving five children.
She was married later to Telesford Hamlin who survives her, together with five children by her first husband, Louis Woodman of Akron, Edward of Flint, Floyd of Saginaw, Mrs. Vina Gehrls of Saginaw and Mrs. Mattie Shupe of Ithaca; two brothers, John Cool of Coburg, Ont, and William of West Branch, and one sister, Ella Osborne of Fairgrove, nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will take place Thursday afternoon at 2:30 at the residence, Rev. Stuart Boone of the First Baptist church will officiate and the body will be taken to Akron Friday morning, where serices will be held at 10 o'clock in the Presbyterian church. Rev. Mr. Fulton will officiate and the burial will be in Demorest cemetery.
