HARMAN, Jack W.
Passed away Monday, April 28, 2008 at Tendercare of Westwood. Jack was born September 5, 1918 in a farmhouse near Greenville, Ohio. In his younger years, he worked on the farm with his father and helped other farmers in the area. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps 1943-1946 serving in the China, Burma and India areas. After the war, he came to Michigan looking for employment. He worked for a number of years as a driver for the Indian Trails Bus Line of Owosso, Michigan. Later he was a salesman for Farm Bureau. Jack was a life member of the Otsego VFW Post 3030. In 1953, he married Phyllis Frevor. They had one son, Robert. In 1974, he married Irene (Sunlin) Ransler. Surviving are his wife, Irene; his son, Robert (Beth) of AZ; two grandsons, Matthew and Jeremy; two step-sons, Clifford Ransler of Kalamazoo, Elton Ransler of Gobles; a step-daughter, Shirley Hurley of Gobles. Following his wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by the
