Passed away Sunday, May 10, 2009, following a brave fight against ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) at Norton Hospice Pavilion, just 18 days short of his 60th Birthday. Keith was born to Robert George and Doris (McGuire) Alden on May 28, 1949. He was raised in Paw Paw, and was a 1967 graduate of Paw Paw High School. After graduation he went to Sam's Technical Institute and graduated with a degree in electronics. Keith passed his Michigan Home Builders Contractors' exam, going on to be owner of Alden's Eavestrough Service in Lawton. He later moved to Louisville and worked at LanTec, Inc. for over twenty years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. Keith was proud that he was a 10th generation descendant of John and Pricilla (Mullins) Alden who were passengers on the Mayflower coming to the New World. He was proceeded in death by his parents; his step-mother Anne (Peterson) Alden; ex-wife Cindy (Bare) Alden; special uncle and aunts, Kenneth and Evelyn Alden and Maxine Alden; step-son Tony Fiorentino. Keith is survived by his wife Charlene (Wolfe) Alden, Louisville, KY; sister Carol Terlinde, Pennsylvania; children Missy (Scott) Alden-Grooms, Thomas Alden; grandchildren Ryan and Taylor Rogers, Trent, and Charlotte Grooms all of Auburn, Nebraska; step-children Eric and Enrico Fiorentino, Louisville, KY, and a host of other relatives, as well as many hunting, fishing and camping buddies. A gathering for family and friends was held on Friday, May 15, 2009 in Louisville, officiating was Father Joe Graffis at the Arch L. Heady Funeral Home in Louisville.
