Mrs. Virginia M. DRENTH, Mattawan, MI, Passed away Friday evening, April 28, 2000. Mrs. DRENTH was born April 5, 1930 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a daughter of Lucas and Cora (KRAMER) VANDENBERG. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of her life and attended Hope Reformed Church since her marriage there in 1950. She was an avid flower, gardener, shopper, crafts worker, golfer and bowler. She also was a volunteer and friend to all she ever met and whose role in life was perfected as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Brenda DRENTH in 1960; and brother, Leonard W. VANDENBERG. On October 14, 1950, she was united in marriage to Herman DRENTH, who survives. Also surviving , 4 children, Dianne (Dave) MULDER of Portage, Laurie (Rusty) SHELBURNE of Scotts, Mark (Peggy) DRENTH of Indianapolis, IN and Bradley (Kelli) DRENTH of Grand Rapids; 6 grandchildren, Kyle and Todd MULDER, Derek SHERBURNE, and Alexandra, Danielle and Samantha DRENTH; 3 brothers, Adrian (Donna) VANDENBERG of Oregon, William (Edna) VANDENBERG of California and Dale (Terri) VANDENBERG of Kalamazoo; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be held 2 o’clock Tuesday at Hope Reformed Church, 910 Jenks Blvd. with the Rev. Mr. Arthur Wiers officiating. A private interment will be in Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Rose Arbor Hospice Residence or the Leukemia Foundation. Arrangements were made by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes Memorial Chapel, 622 S.
