Dale F. BRESEMAN of Mattawan, Formerly of Marcellus, Passed away Monday afternoon, November 13, 2000 in the Lakeview Continuing Care Center, Lawton following a long illness. He was born March 23, 1929 in Grand Rapids, MI, the son of Frank W. and Coila J. (BUTCHBAKER) BRESEMAN. On August 23, 1973 in Kalamazoo, he married Thelma M. SHIVELY, who survives. He had lived at Mattawan the past 27 years, and previous to that at Marcellus. He was employed at the Fort James Paper Mill for 42 years. He enjoyed spending his winters in Florida. Surviving besides his wife, Thelma, are one daughter, Patricia CISNEROS of Lawton, three sons, Wilber (Deborah) Michael and Frank (Marie), all of Marcellus; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; one brother, Roger (Elaine) BRESEMAN of LaPorte, IN. One brother, Gene BRESEMAN, preceded him in death. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 20, 2000 in the Mater Funeral Home, Marcellus with Rev. Charles Rawthorne, Pastor of the Faith Baptist Church of Mattawan, officiating. Burial will follow in Marcellus Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
