Austin LAWRENCE, owner of the elevator at Decatur and one of the best known men in this section of the State, died from lockjaw at his home in Decatur Sunday morning, aged 52 years. He was a brother of L. L. LAWRENCE of Volinia.
Thursday of last week he attended the good roads meeting at Paw Paw, and took a prominant part in bringing about the submission of the proposition to raise money for good roads. On his way home he was slightly injured while crashing his auto, and the injuries, though so slight caused lockjaw from which he died three days later.
