Deo WARNER, aged 19, a member of this years graduating class at Lawton, was drowned while fishing in Gravel Lake Monday morning.
He and another Lawton boy, Deo Campbell were in a boat together, fishing, when the boat tipped over. Campbell clung to the boat and was saved. It is thought they were trying to change positions when the boat was overturned. The body of the drowned boy was recovered in a short time, but all efforts to resuscitate him failed.
WARNER was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jay WARNER of Lawton.
