I, too, am wondering if anyone has been successful in getting info regarding their birth parent from the 1950's files from Florence Crittenton in Detroit. Also, does anyone know if an unwed mother had to give proof of her identity there? How easy would it have been for a woman to go in under a false name in the 1950's? I'm hoping not easy. Please help!
