That would be right tobert, they finished the church about the same time my father greaduated., 1950 or so. Sadly, since I started this post, St Gregory church was closed in June 2013. I find it hard to imagine that not long ago this church had 1200 family's as members and the surrounding area thrived with businesses and families. It's sad to drive by the businesses and see whAt used to be a bank or library and imagine my dad or his other family members going to run errands on a fall or spring day. This was a place where families safely lived their lives out. No more. Even sadder to see the house my grandparents worked hard to raise my dad and aunt and uncles. Two who served in wwII. How is it that we dropped bombs on hiroshima and Dexter and finkel is the place that looks like a nuclear bomb hit 60 years later. God bless americA? God help it. What has happened there is a national disgrace.
