I'm doing some research for a friend and would like to see if anyone recognizes the man in the 2 photos that I've attached. There are no names on the back and the living family members do not know who it is, but believe he is an important link to breaking through one of their brick walls in their research.

If anyone has any idea of who this man is, please let me know. I'm not sure exactly when the photos were taken. I assume sometime between 1930-1940.
