Thank you for your reply. My part of the family, came from Stettin, Prussia, northeast of Berlin, but we have relations, in Hannover, today. Our family came to Wisconsin, in 1866, and some of the boys, came to Chicago, in about 1888. Today, I live in the Chicago area. I have been, trying to connect, all of the different family. We had another Adolf Hickstein, who owned, a piano factory, in Auburn, NY. When he died, his family moved to California. He had to brothers, Oskar, and William.
