You can request a death certificate from the State of Michigan and in the informant knew, you would have her parents' names. But depending on how well the informant knew the person, the information may not be reliable. My great grandmother's death certificate has her mother's maiden wrong. My uncle didn't know my grandmother's father's name. In both cases these were the youngest children.
