The Captain of the George King was Hector Brown in 1909 and H. Huyser in 1910 and 1911. The Chief Engineer of the George King was William Flanigan in 1909 and John Conley in 1910 and 1911.
The liklihood of getting any more detailed crew information on the George King is very remote. Prior to the 1910 - 1915 time frame, there was no requirement to generate or keep crew lists. Individuals signed on to the Ship's Articles and were paid directly by the Captain. Most of these log books have been lost over tiime.
The George King was owned and operated by M. Sicken of Marine City, Michigan. Sicken went out of business around 1912. The George King was operated by S. C. McClouth of Marine City in 1912 and William Sharp of Bay City in 1913 - 1918. Perhaps, if you get lucky, you might find some more information in the Marine City and Bay City newspaper archives.
