I have been doing a lot of Geneology lately, and I followed a line to a Capt Willim Wilkins, but the person who linked me the research, I think, was a bit flawed. He/she had the Capt born around 1660, with his son, Thomas Wilkins, being born in 1810. Obviously, there is a flaw there, but most of the names seem to be similar. Do you think there may be a chance there is a relation to your post and the line I am researching, or do you think it may be the work of someone who decided to "spice things up" a bit and just throw some names in there?
