Sadly, I have no photos at this time (although if memory serves me I do recall seeing a photo of Isabella and a few of her children/step-children). There is a debate over who is the mother of Mary (Steele) O'Brien - I firmly/without a doubt believe Isabella was her step-mother although some family trees have her listed as being biological (ages and limited marriage record info make it clear to me).

It appears Archibald Steele had two marriages prior to Isabella 1) Jane Houston and 2) Jane Tomkins. I believe Mary (Steele) O'Brien came from the first marriage.

On that note, in my family there is a story that Isabella left Archibald. Does anyone know anything about this, or has anyone else even heard of it before?
