Birth Registeration - Ellen JAMESON, JAMIESON - 1872

Born: 7 March 1872
Mother: Jane Ann Preston
Father; Samuel Porter Jamieson
It appears as though she may have been born while her parents were visiting in Michigan. Her Ontario birth registeration shows "Informant reported that the parties had gone to Michigan _?__ to get paticulars"?
If she had been born in Michigan, likely close to Detroit area, then my guess is she would have a Michigan Birth Certificate issued? Could I ask if someone with better access to Michigan records than me please do a search to see if such a record exists. Thanks in advance. Tom
