DIED.—On Wednesday morning, Sept. 28th, Mrs. Nancy Aiton, relict of the late John Aiton, died at the residence of H. T. Mine in Alexandria.
The deceased had been in failing health since the death of her husband in June last and came to Alexandria a few weeks ago to be under the doctor’s care. Mrs. Aiton was a lady beloved by all who knew her, and in all the relations of life did her whole duty with christian conscientiousness.
She leaves four sons and three daughters to mourn her loss. The funeral took place on Thursday, Rev. E. G. Elsey officiating, and the remains were interred in the cemetery at Reno.
