Looking for any information on John Nordquist, b. Abt. 1872, Sweden, d. Abt 1963, Alexandria (?), MN, married to Johanna Marie Norquist, Nee: Tonman. My g-grandfather John lived in Hoffman, Grant County, MN most of his life and may have died there as the family home was just a couple of blocks from the grain elevator. John and Johanna had children; Colvig, Gladwin, Harris, Myrtle, Vern, Edgar, Milton (Beans), Gladys (my grandmother - married to Steone Johnson), Landis, Sidney, Lauritz, Merlin, and Mavis. The state does not have a death certificate on John. Hope to find an obit, info on naturalization papers, etc. Anything to further my search and to id his parents and where they came from in Sweden. Although looking for John, any info on his children or their descendents (I believe they all stayed fairly close to home) would be very welcome.
