My Great Grandfather is Truls Flaglien Bjore, I'm looking for stories of his immigration to Grant County from Norway and what life was like. Truls Bjore was the son of Gulbrand and Gunhild Flaglien. Truls Bjore took the name when he was set up as a farm hand on the farm of Bjore Krødsherad when he was about years 8 old. He was No. 4 of the 14 children Gulbrand and Gunhild Flaglien had together. In 1893 he moved to America when he was 21 years old and married Gurine Baasen (1872-1930) They had 9 children together.
