REETZ, JANELLE, 35 (obituary)

Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, August 23, 2008 at Eden Valley Watkins High School Gymnasium in Eden Valley for Janelle Reetz, age 35, of Eden Valley, who died suddenly Tuesday at the St. Cloud Hospital. Fr. Virgil Braun and Rev. James Carlson officiated and burial was at Assumption Cemetery, Eden Valley. Arrangements by Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Eden Valley.

Janelle was born July 9, 1973 in Paynesville to Jim & JoAnn (Moser) Rademacher. She married Eric Reetz on May 11, 2001 at Assumption Catholic Church in Eden Valley. Janelle lived in the Eden Valley area all her life and was a dispatcher for the Minnesota State Patrol and a part time dispatcher for the Stearns County Sheriffs Department. She was an assistant volleyball coach at Eden Valley Watkins High School. Janelle was a mentor for New Beginnings. She was a member of Assumption Catholic Church, Eden Valley Rescue Squad, and Minnesota Coaches Association. Janelle’s loves included her family, her garden, coaching and playing volleyball. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.

Survivors include her husband Eric of Eden Valley; children, Andrea and Ethan at home; parents, Jim & JoAnn Rademacher of Eden Valley; sisters, Julie (Jeff) Wendroth of Eden Valley and Jill (Troy) Sogge of New Munich; brother, Justin Rademacher (special friend, Kim Gross) of Eden Valley; grandmother, Florence Rademacher of Eden Valley; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Curt & Barb Reetz of Arlington; sisters-in-law, Kristie Reetz (special friend, Nate Watson) of Albany and Emily (Bill) Rabe of Green Isle; niece and nephews, Tyler and Lindsey Sogge, and Jordan Wendroth.

Janelle was preceded in death by her grandparents, Aloys Rademacher, Ervin Moser, and Mary & John Hettwer.
