My grandmother, Beatrice Gordon, passed in 1999. I found her listed at the Oakland Park Sanatorium in the 1930 census. I am attempting to find out how long she was actually there. My understanding is that she was there from the time that she was 15 until she turned 25. That seems like quite a long time. Do you have any suggestions how I might verify how long she was actually there.
