I can offer you some information that you requested on the Medkil family and marriage record. It is from the Varnes church records that at the present time I have in possession. There are two Ole Medkil's listed as members 0f Varnes besides an Oscar Medkil. Ole S. Medkil born 1850 joined Varnes in 1888; died 1934. Ole M. born 1889, confirmed 1903. In the marriage registry- Ole Medkil to
Mette Bjugan on December 3, 1885. Mette was born 1856,
joined Varnes 1888 and died 1889. Listed as attendents at the wedding were Andres Hammer and Hemming Nesseth. There are severaL Medlil's listed [17] as confirmed or joined
Including Bolette, born 1854, died 1909. Hope this helps.
