ANNA MEYER ....I found 17 photos in an old photo album I bought in Bandon, Oregon. The people in these pictures appear to be siblings of Swedish, German or Norwegian descent. One had writing on the back. It said “MISS ANNA MEYER” signed “YOUR FRIEND AND TEACHER ISAAC HOULGATE”. This picture says L.P. Peavey (studio), Main St. Faribault, Minn. In 2004 I was contacted by a nephew of Isaac Houlgate who claimed the photo and told me that Isaac Houlgate had been an Episcopal minister in Faribault, Minn. Is there any Episcopal church/school record that can be found to get these photos possibly belonging to Anna MEYER to their rightful owner? I still have 16 photos….5 of these pictures have no markings at all, 5 are taken in Peterson Studios, Faribault, Minn.; 3 of them say Mueller (Studio) Owatonna, Minn.;1 says Hoerger (studio) 404 N. Main St. Faribault, Minn.;1 says Fleckenstein (studio), Faribault, Minn.; 1 says Bowe & Groethe (studio), Morristown, Minn.; 1 says M. F. Kelley Crescent Studio, 1111 E. St. Tacoma, WA, and 1 says Atelier=Moderne Marius Christensen Dags-OG Kunst-Lys Amagertorv 19. Kobenhavn.k. I scanned all the remaining photos and can send them to you for verification.
Please help me find the MEYER family so I can return these photos…. Thanks…
